I like it. It looks very nice and elegant. Hopefully the lights will completely wrap the top though and not have that gap on the west side. I also still wish they'd hide the mechanical penthouses. I don't know. I like this building, but it looks unfinished.

Some inside shots from today.

I had a chance to tour the building today and I took some images of the model unit along with a few other areas. Overall I was very impressed with the finish, especially in the bathrooms.

"The tallest pool in Texas" they say

Views from terrace

Big terrace but I still don't like that giant pole!

The very top terrace, on the lake side

It looks very nice. Nice and spacious.

And I would say the rooftop pool is probably around 350 feet up. It's about level with the first setback on One Congress Plaza, and it's at 355 feet.

Nice shot! I do like the lighting on the building. I just can't get past those mechanical penthouses though. They definitely leave something to be desired in how they could have been hidden/decorated.

Almost Finished......

The base is no longer barricaded so I thought I would take a few close-ups. I really like all of the greenery they are planting around the residence entrance. I only hope that the foot traffic on Cesar Chavez doesn't damage it. The first occupants should be arriving sometime around Memorial Day. I hope to be moved in by July. In one of the pictures it looks like the parking garage is air conditioned? The last picture shows how the builder and architect handled the drop in elevation as one travels east along Cesar Chavez. It almost looks like the doors get smaller and smaller, like a scene from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. They are the same height however, and if you look closely you can see each one has a larger and larger window above it.

Thats a pretty damn good looking building, reminds me a lot of One Park Place in Houston for some reason minus the top.

Great update. With all the construction fencing and barricades down, and no construction equipment around it, you can appreciate it. I'm mostly happy with this building. I still can't get past the roof though.

Very cool pictures! Nice to see it nearing completion! I wonder if they fixed the lighting-did they?

P.S: If you were wondering where I was, I was devoting my computer time to editing Wikipedia.
