Well, I've been trying to not do the "first post on the page" thing as often, but it's been two days since the last post so here's some Telus Sky.

Why would anyone care? This thread is for only 10 towers at a time and Telus Sky will be out of here very soon.

I remember a few years back, maybe 5 years or so, Andrew or MonkeyRonin made a thread for recently completed towers.

Maybe time to bring it back for those towers not really under construction?

I only see two that are pre-2008. The ACC offices and 161 Bay.

Can we expect this thing to start shooting up once at street level? Feels like progress has taken forever, especially with CIBC rising so quickly to the south.

No - the podium isn't very regular.

Commercial space. Should have a hard occupancy date. Anyone know it?

I would expect the podium start late October and take us through until the end of March or April before the tower starts to rise. If we have a mild winter it could be sooner, if we have a bad winter it could be later.

Nice updates guys. I also agree the timeframe on construction is so long. One Bloor East takes the cake, that tower was under construction for 6 or 7 years. Beyond ridiculous, and even now it feels not 100% complete.

They're going to cancel construction and use it as evidence to ban supertalls from ever being built in Toronto.
