the cladding is very nice, but it's the podium that really got my attention. the dappled light effect on the podium looks very interesting and must be a nice place to hangout under the scotching desert sun.

There are very many design difficulties with the tallest tower with the uneven top and a very sleek base with litte space for elevators.

and there are also two umbrella shaped sections of steel rewbar connected to the core that work as vibration dampers that send the stress out into the outer support collums wich then sends it down.

And the work they put into the mall is redicilous very much of it is made in the old way and the outer surfaces is made of a glass concrete mix so that it can withstand the sandstorms better and all of it must be surface teated by hand after being hung up because the suface is to uneven and deep.
