I second that! The same holds true for the IDS Tower in Minneapolis. Even though the highest office floor is the 51st floor. There are 6 mechanical/private floors above it and the official number of floors of the building is 57 floors. The title should be changed to 58 floors.

^58 also sounds better than 53, plus it's the real number of floors

I'm digging the new spot-lighting on the Verizon HQ too.

I arrived in New York yesterday and saw this tower up close today from Bryant Park. It's very impressive. I will add some photos once I download them from my camera.

Its size is really apparent from a distance. Coming in on the A from JFK on Wednesday night, I noticed there was a point where only ESB, Chrysler, Citigroup were visible.

From Newark Libery Int'l, it is the most noticable building in Midtown by far right behind the Empire State Building if not the only other one.

Now for a trip into the winter garden. I didn't get many good shots 'cause I had to concern myself with not letting security see what I was doing!

I can easily see why Merrill employees are so bitter towards moving into this building; the winter gardens are hardly comparable. They did a good job though for what it really is, just have to get rid of that scaffolding.
