Balneário Camboriu in a cold morning. Huge skyline... for only 100k people!!!

well, thats the population that resides in the city the entire year. But in the summer months the population jumps to about 1 million.

all pictures by Zimmer, from the brazilian SSC forum. English translation by yours TRANTOR!

this one is quite thin uh?

Something rare... a house in the Atlantic Avenue

Brewery/Night Club

Looking for some food.

there were several fisherman laying around at the beach looking at the sea. I guess it was a bad day for fishing.

The famous Hotel Fisher (german surname, not english translation), the first "highrise" in the city.

Another big one in sight.

Edificio Imperatriz, with its panoramic elevators

Thanks people, and I hope to bring back new stuff from BC for you guys soon

What a colorful skyline and it looks much bigger than 100K and surely much , much better than Benidorm in Spain

WOW! So beautiful. I love seeing threads like this with cities I've never heard of before surprising me.

WTH??? Brazil has an endless supply of little beach towns with tacky, Miami-esque skylines.

Kudos.

nah... not really. Camboriu is one of the few beach towns in Brazil with a big skyline, which is not a state capital and a big city.

Recife, Fortaleza, Salvador... these are state capitals, each one with more than 2 million people in the city propper.

This building is wild. Not sure I'd feel safe in it.

While most pics give the impression of the scrapers ending after a couple of blocks, this one looks like a dense, massive city.

But this one may be the best structure in the thread.

Thanks Trantor.
