Thats not true at all the united states has massive areas of land excluding protected areas. even within our existing cities due to it mostly being suburban sprawl.

If there is one thing the USA is not running out of it is land.

And as for the rain-forest....I am not praising deforestation, but the demise of the Rain-forest has been overblown for a very long time.

It's not overblown, look at Brazil, all the light green in the center and near center was rain forest not that long ago.
