Good to hear about some progress for this site. Have to take a walk down there with my dog to check on those fire hydrants.

The CBC news piece mentions the ground floor of every unit will be "business space, open to the public". I'm guessing that means they don't want or expect it to be all new retail. Maybe services like medical or dental clinics? It will be interesting to watch the development progress.

It seems they're leaning the complete community way so it would make sense. As the development progresses maybe a doctor's office, dentist, lawyer, grocery store, etc. All the trappings of life beyond bars and restaurants.
