Really disappointed in the cost engineering they did on this building. Studio Gang is so awesome and deserved their vision to be realized. The fact that they PAINTED the top floor panels charcoal gray to look like windows instead of putting in glass is so cheap and not necessary. This has to be the ugliest crown in Brooklyn.

I can see 11 Hoyt from my apt and yeah, it is a big disappointment. The facade articulation is barely noticeable, would've been great clad in reflective metal but the white concrete just flattens everything. The base is very insular and although I hope for the best, I'm expecting it just to be a blank street wall in what is otherwise a vibrant pedestrian area.

It had so much potential! But blah, it's just another box set back on a private court.

Brooklyn has landed some odd skyscrapers recently, that’s for sure

What happened to architectural restraint?

Its kinda become a playground for designs. I guess it adds variety. Much better than LIC though when it comes to designs, thats for sure.

Wow the density in this triangle of Flatbush, Fulton and Albee Square will be incredible once all these towers are complete.
