I haven't been to Winnipeg in awhile but I must say, it's looking pretty nice (at least from above).

I love this view of our city, I wish it was shown more often, like for Jets games as an example.

^ Skyline shots during Jets games are always showing The Forks or Portage Avenue, I don't ever recall seeing a view from the north

Some of those northern views are quite good too!

^ Love it... that first picture just might be my favourite Winnipeg skyline shot right now.

Thanks for the photos Brizzy.

The lighting on 300 Main really is a game changer for our skyline at night. Wow.

It would be nice to see the top of the Richardson building lit up, and the revolving restaurant would also be an obvious one.

Wow 300 main is a game changer for skyline shots

Not just as a new tallest but more so because of that lighting

Also the bridge lighting has improved a lot over the years. Great to see

Thanks for sharing Brizzy

Yeah, I agree. In the past it wasn't always obvious to non-skyscraper nerds whether a particular skyline shot was old or not, you had to look pretty closely. But now with 300 Main, it is very obvious, especially with night shots. I do love that lighting too, I wouldn't mind seeing some more use made of it now that it is a) so effective and b) so inexpensive. That rainbow light on the apartment building near Pembina and Bishop Grandin is a good example...
