The end reminds me of Golden 1 Center in Sacramento

Nope but here is the normal size for anyone who hasn't seen it. You can see the open garage doors uncovering the upper deck seating.

^^Many thanks! Interesting idea/way of doing it instead of simply covering up the extra seats.

Yea, hopefully the material they use on those garage doors reflect sound back down to the lower stands. Curtains like they use in a lot of big stadiums typically absorb sound.

It's much better IMHO. It's not a good look when it's obvious that a stadium has covered up sections of seats.

I thought it would be done by 2021 but now they're saying 2022.

It’s going to be a lot of excavating and it’ll likely still be a big hole in the ground when we get to Austin’s rainy season next spring.

So, I'm assuming all that space below the 570 foot number is all below street level and is below ground, yeah? If measuring from the street then, it's only 62 feet tall. That seems about right. That water tank is about 80 feet tall. I was going to do a model of it since freeover was asking for one. Is the site plan posted yet? I think I got the lines right for the footprint, but I wanna make sure.

It's below ground on the east side. West side ground level is about 540'.

Yeah it should get all the best musical acts and shows. Not to mention, it will be a prime candidate to host NCAA Tournament regionals.

I drove by and most of the work is at the Northwest corner of the 35 frontage and MLK. I'm guessing it's utilities related.
