^I guess technically it is under construction by some definition. They installed caissons, dug a hole for the mat slab and stopped. Until you see the rest of that tower crane installed and operating, this one is on hold.

No necessarily, the world is in chaos, maybe they're just waiting it out?

I would say let patience prevail, but definitely understand the concern. Im trying to stay positive. I just hope whatever redesign happens, if it does, doesn't drop it 200 feet.

What makes you think there will be a redesign?

I believe he's implying there may be a Waterview Tower 2.0 situation where that tower lost 400 feet after being put on hold and purchased by a different developer because of the Recession

From a Crain’s Article posted this afternoon:

The developers of a Michigan Avenue condominium tower designed by architect Helmut Jahn have halted construction. They say they did it to prevent the spread of COVID-19 among construction workers.

Construction began on the 74-story tower, called 1000M for its address at 1000 S. Michigan Avenue, in late 2019. At some point in the past 10 weeks, it stopped, sources told Crain’s.
