One hour left to put pants on and walk 20 meters to vote. Not sure I can muster the will.

We had to take a different way home since we vote in Landmark, but made the trip worthwhile by picking up Peppy's Pizza! Thank God there was someone from something other than the big 3 to vote for.

The Green candidate downtown is a turban wearing white boy named "Loves-Life".

Just when you think the greens are starting to become credible.

I don't know if I've ever seen a government so completely given up for dead on an election night. Not even the media is pretending that the NDP has a chance.

First polls are reporting and it's looking rough for the NDP. Riverman may prove correct in saying the Greens take Wolseley.

Entirely predictable result, Manitoba back open for business after 17 years of the speNDP regime!

Failure of a candidate Bokari third in her riding!

Longtime speNDP hacks Ashton and Chomiak tossed to the curb!

Soon to be leadership races for the Libs and speNDP parties.

Damn shame Green candidate trailing in Wolseley!

The province can avoid bankruptcy now, too.

Has the Medical Arts Building been purchased already? I do not recall if Pallister opposed it. Can the purchase be cancelled?

Well the speNDP already destroyed Manitoba Hydro, the education system, health care and just about everything else they touched!

Selinger just resigned.

Edit: Resigned leadership in his defeat speech. Albeit I just caught the last part of it, so I didn't get all the info.

Outside Winnipeg the NDP was crushed. The PCs were over 50% in every single seat outside the North, including each of the NDP incumbent seats.

I don't like any of them and I trust Pallister as much as I trusted Harper

It will be funny when less roads are fixed and you all start bitching about that. As the PCs won't be big spenders. So imagine our roads in 10 years with almost zero spending. Guess you forgot about Filmons cuts and how that did so well.

Either way they are all a bunch of crooks.

All I was hoping for was a minority

Well here's the reality that Pallister is left with after 17 years of speNDP:

"Manitoba’s total net debt is more than $21 billion. The deficit this year is $773 million. And this year it cost $842 million just to cover the interest on the debt. The province’s credit rating has been downgraded. This is the type of debacle that could impact generations to come." Winnipeg Free Press
