A bunch of new bikeshare station planning permits were filed in the past 2 days. Looks like the expansion is moving forward as planned, maybe thanks to sponsorship by Georgia's Own Credit Union. The new stations will be at Georgia Tech, Inman Park, L5P, Coca-Cola headquarters, and SW downtown.

Also, 1280 W.Peachtree filed for their new façade.

Thanks for the updates on actual development news. Gonna start handing out infractions to those of y'all who consistently derail conversation into petty arguments if you can't get your sh&t together

Apparently Buckhead gets larger apartments due to the older demographic of empty nesters and divorcees. Interesting enough, a complex I used to live in Buckhead told me the complex was designed for families, but the Millenials overran the place. Makes sense that two successful roommates may likely have a comparable or greater income than a family, empty nester, or divorcee.

Nestle HQ's decided on Arlington instead of DC.
AIG is looking at Atlanta and Dallas for a HQ move.

LOL. That's so true. At least when I initially lived in Buckhead when I first moved to Atlanta. But Lenox/Phipps was the spot to go at that time.

State Farm Project

I just wish State Farm had chosen to build a "signature" tower (or two) in Downtown or Midtown rather than the suburbs.

What is the construction on the right of the building? Are they adding retail? That would be nice!

Building permits filed this week for a series of new townhomes in Ansley Park at 18 Park Ln, townhomes in O4W at 367 Parkway, and townhomes in Buckhead at 50 Lakeland Dr. All of the One Museum Place condos filed for interior build-out.
A whole lot of permits for new single family homes all over the city have been submitted over the last few months as well. I think the increased density occurring in existing SF neighborhoods is flying under the radar. Lots of infill.

Roswell Road at Irby.

I guess this would be next to the Alliance project on the Henri's bakery site at Cain's Hill and Irby (below)?

Are these two separate projects? I have seen the rendering below, but not the first one.

Yes, that's my understanding.
