Maybe not this building, but I certainly hope this massive project has one signature, well designed tall flagship building that distinguishes itself from the sea of glass boxes (I've argued the same thing for the Navy Yard).

Now, if this project gets totally built out without such a signature tower, I won't lose any sleep over it!
One uCity Square will definitely have that worthy look your're seeking:

Wow, you're not kidding. When I saw this thread pop up to the top I had hopped it might be a bit off the ground.

First of all thanks for the pic . Laying the utilities out before they are set in concrete is a slow and arduous process , sometimes it worth the extra time .

Good. Interestingly enough there is no record of a building permit for this project yet. Perhaps the electronic system isn't updated yet.

There were also tower crane parts sitting on flatbed trucks on the uCity Square site behind this... so I assume a crane is going up here soon.

Saw the crane on the flatbed this morning, was excited to post here only to discover Summers keyed us in on that revelation 10 days ago. Well, truck hasn't moved. Crane parts still sitting there.

Steel is quite a bit higher, though from the 4/26 pic.

Steel is rising quick on this one and first sections of the tower crane are in place. Guessing crane will go up this weekend.
