While randomly searching for a new apartment, I came across a listing at 2715 Hemphill Park (adjacent to the Villas on Guadalupe student apartments located on 27th and Guadalupe) that states the property at this location will be demolished this summer for a new residential building.

Although technically not in West Campus, it's next to UT Campus and I was wondering if anyone has heard anything about plans for this site.

This would be it. The address on the site plan is 2713 Hemphill Park.

Hilltop wrapped around Freedman's. I like the fact that so many WC projects wrap around historical structures.

Is that a different design than what we saw previously? I like it better.

This is the only article I could find on the Marriott Moxy, but it's from 2017. Is there any new information on that?

LOL they freakin did it:

https://www.bizjournals.com/austin/n..._news_headline

"Elsewhere in West Campus, construction is expected to start in May on a 17-story student-housing tower that will wrap around a historic two-story structure called the Kenney House at the corner of Rio Grande and West 22nd streets, development consultant Mike McHone said. Rogers-O’Brien Construction Co. LTD is the general contractor."

Is this the one with the cool atrium-looking design?

I think OP is making a South Park/"sodosopa" reference. the subreddit r/Austin thinks this is hilariously funny and repeats it endlessly on any post about new development. no offense to OP
