Also, if you look, the curve on the southwest corner is represented in both the renderings that ahealy posted, and the one urbannizer posted. That curve seems to be missing in the other 4 renderings ahealy posted, but it may just be an optical illusion that it's missing in those.

The renderings that ahealy posted seem to match the elevations we got today, except for the terraced levels on the west facade with all the vegetation, which are missing from the elevations from today.

I'm excited to hear how this one turns out. I think the greenery spaces in the older (?) rendering aren't as sleek as this design should be, so I'm pretty happy to see the other one. Looking forward to it.

Love it. Truly an A+ tower.

Still not seeing the height.

Austin Proper is 397 feet to the mechanical penthouse. This one is supposed to be 589 feet to the top of the sail. The mechanical roof height is 527 feet, and the main roof slab height is 497 feet.

Interesting how the angle is accentuated even more in this design - the parking podium is sloped on the side facing cesar chavez, and you can see the angle designed into the facade on Nueces st.

Its pretty awesome. I wonder how they are planning to keep the creek full.

I think this is what is called "artistic license."

Here's hoping they properly light this thing and truly make this iconic.

While I do like it, I'm still a tad underwhelmed by it overall, especially the plain west side "sail". Though that's probably more of a function of this project being almost impossible to live up to the hype of the last 6+ months.

I'll withhold final judgement until some high quality over-saturated CGI renderings with sunsets and fireworks show up

WOW! Really excited for this. Will be a really nice addition to the skyline!!!
Also....
So happy they are addressing the creek and not just turning a "blind blank wall" to it!

Nice job!

The west facade has always been the best and most important part of the design, but they've really improved the south and east faces in this iteration. The new balcony pattern is a lot more interesting than we've seen previously, and the cuts into the SE corners of the 'steps' reduce the bulk. It went from having one great angle to being interesting from all of its visible angles.

I need to see a better picture of the east side because I can't quite make out what that angled back shear side is. It looks like its mimicking the west side to an extent, but it actually looks like an overlay or glass vaneer. Maybe its just the glare or reflections, I just can't make out a floor count on that side like before. Whatever it is, compared to the renderings on the previous page, its a big improvement. I agree with myBrain. All the sides look good now.
