You folks have got to stop being afraid of everything. The entire island of Manhattan is in a vulnerable spot. Traffic flows around every building. There are rail tunnels underneath buildings, and various pedestrian networks. We can't close every street, shut every subway station because someone "might" think of attacking. New York will always be a very open city, with a lot coming and going. The city can't exists in a constant state of fear and panic. If so, you wouldn't see towers like 1 Vanderbilt rising in the first place.
