Yeah, but that one has a view of a perpetual traffic jam, a box mall, and the new 'Destination V UberEats Kitchen Complex'. This one has a view of Parliament and the river.

First tower is topping out at the sixth floor this week. Prefab construction.

They forgot to note that an excellent beer selection can be had just minutes away at Depanneur Rapido [a 30 minute uphill climb with your full case]

Omfg it actually says Downtown Ottawa is 10 minutes away by car. I had to check, I thought that was a joke. I live 300 feet away. Downtown is 22ish minutes off peak, and 40-80 minutes peak time depending on the traffic du jour.

I seem to recall reading that Carling at Richmond is "Westboro" so maybe SJAM at Island Park is 'Downtown' now.

As I sat in the perpetual line up of the rue Front Tim Horton's for 40 minutes, staring at the condos directly beside, my youngest son (who wanted so badly to have a crème boston and chicken wrap not that long ago) said, 'who would want to have their window overlooking a Tim's drive thru?'

He's 13.

At what point does development in Aylmer/Plateau become untenable? Right now, on a bad day, it takes 90 minutes to cross the bridge in the morning/afternoon. Where is the threshold?
