Just putting up clear signage identifying the entry points to the underground concourse would be a massive improvement. And I'm not talking about the measly "W" wayfinding stickers in the windows, I mean actual clearly-worded, large light-up signs designed to catch your attention.
Then you wouldn't have situations like with that Hollywood guy last week who was completely befuddled by the intersection. Because much like with our street signs, P&M assumes that you're a lifelong Winnipegger, that you know where you're going and don't need any directions or advance warning as to which way you should go.
