I grew up in BC and was quite familiar with the trolleys in Vancouver. For whatever reason, the system in Vancouver was not nearly as visually unappealing as it was in Vancouver. Edmonton never kept up the system and let it deteriorate. I lived in the Alberta Avenue area for a number of years and absolutely hated how junky the wires and poles made the area look. As soon as they ripped all that out it improved the aesthetics of the area immeasurably

Lol this ship has sailed long ago. It's ok, more overhead LRT wires are coming in to take its place.
