The Eleven condominium tower in downtown Minneapolis has sold more than half its 118 residences barely four months since construction began.

The 41-story tower, which is being built in the Mill District off W. River Parkway close to Gold Medal Park, will be the tallest residential building in the city when it is expected to be completed in late 2021.

A handful of units start at $900,000, but many surpass the previous record of $7 million for a Minneapolis condo. The Eleven is planned to have 17 penthouse units that will be more than triple the size of the average home in the Twin Cities.

The developers announced Tuesday that Chicago-based Sudler Property Management has been tapped to offer condo owners a “new-to-market level of customized services and amenities.”

I'm still just blown away by the fact that a 550-foot tower by Robert A. M. Stern is going up in Minneapolis. Like that's incredible for you all in the Twin Cities area...I've been a big fan of Stern's work in NYC and elsewhere for a long time, and also have always liked the Carlyle in Minneapolis, which this feels like an evolution of. I honestly think every city in America should have at least one RAMSA design.

^^Minneapolis thanks you....Let's hope we get a few more like this in the future. BTW....aside from all the negative stuff that happened in Minneapolis the last 4-5 months, another suburban company (Delux Corp.) is moving it's HQ and 538 employees to Downtown! In the last year DT Minneapolis has scored around 1500 employees from several companies that came from the 'burbs! So good news on that front anyway!

No pictures, but drove by today and the cranes look to have been extended to their FULL HEIGHT. They look to be twice as high as the top of the current construction! My guess is they don't want to do this work in winter (cold, ice, etc.) so they are doing it now while the weather is nice?

It is SERIOUSLY tall. I'm sure a lot of people driving by all of a sudden realized something big is happening.

It currently is rising at 19 stories. I would imagine the cranes will go higher once they get to the top floors. Pictures don't do justice how big this building is when driving down 35W.
