Divining Cranes at The Atlantic

Could they be pointing towards water during Atlanta's summerlong drought?

They'd be pointing towards Forsyth County if that were true, my rain guage on the deck shows a hair over 2" since Sunday. Had a toad strangler of a rain storm roll through Sunday (complete with dime size hail) responsible for over half of that and a nice blast at 6am this morning (thunder, lightning and RAIN!).

My yard has gone from corn flakes to collard greens in 2 days.

Yes, and I'll start a thread later tonight, if you feel it's "under construction" enough. Basically, a few small cranes, giant concrete cylinder forms, and steal mesh columns. Have no idea what they're doing... the only digging was a ramp for trucks to get into the hole from the lowest parking level.
If the BB&T hole is the project at Atlantic Station that was right next to the area where the German Beerfest was last weekend, then I took a good look at it - sorry no pictures.

There were maybe 6 caisson tubes on the site, several rebar cages of 10-12 ft diameter had already been constructed, and there were at least two cranes on site. I don't recall seeing a caisson drill motor on either crane, but there was a drilling rig there as well with 3 or 4 drill bits with (as expected) 10-12 ft diameter.

I think some drilling had been done but I don't recall seeing a sunk caisson.

It has a really tiny footprint for the height! Going to appear like a wider version of Mansion.

I noticed the thread title has been changed to show question marks for floor count and height. I didn't do it. Originally they were listed as 46 floors and 550'. Maybe that data was incorrect.
