looks like the tower won't rise until the summer of next year for the least. The foundation is still at a VERY early stage.

There's still not much evidence of a busy construction site.

I believe Vincent is correct in his prediction when US7 will rise.

First, there is the podium to deal with. As Vincent stated, at least one year from now.

Not the news the I or anybody in the forum wants but good things in life take a long time.

Fantastic coth ! U have been reading my mind !

I was wondering how long it will take to dig that circular hole and I was trying to find this kind of chronological serie of pix : 3 weeks, this does not seem too slow afterall...

Will effective construction start soon (underground floors) ?

The building on the Lujiazui model is the third planned supertall which would be built on the plot of the temporary golf practice.

I have been reading an interview of a city planning official who said the Shanghai's sinking problem won't stop this one. Some day, later... may be never...

Another supertall had also been considered for the plot where now stands the Central Green Park :

The fourth super-tall was amazing.
I'm afraid that Central Green Park is not temporary, right ?

Shanghai is sinking and yet they're still planning to continue to build more skyscrapers. Isn't there something wrong with this picture?

Who knows, most of the skyscrapers might be OK as long as the bedrock is.
