I was past there last week on a walk through Fishtown. I'd put the photos up if I could find the damn disc.

According to the Waterfront Square sales ad in Sunday's Inquirer, Tower 3 is about to close out.

While driving from northbound I-95 to westbound Vine St Expwy, I noticed 2 blue tower cranes to the North. Is that the site?

The DRPA is going to have an announcement updating their plans to repaint the Philly side of the Ben Franklin Bridge.

Peninsula (25 stories) is the structure further North. The one that is up to 4 or 5 stories.

Regatta(29 stories) is closest to the BF bridge.

And what the heck are they going to do with that clunker warehouse right next to Waterfront Sq. that houses the nightclub Chrome?

The north building (Regatta) is starting to look like the renderings of the building. They're on the 6th floor. The south tower (Peninsula) is still on the 2nd floor.

I asked the question before about the state of the surrounding buildings and got a small slap on the wrist. But i think the area is still pretty gritty mainly because of those two ugly concrete warehouses. It's a shame the apartment tower of the Phila. World Trade Center isn't going up. The area would look a little bit better. I don't know exactly where the WTC was supposed to go (I think at Columbus Blvd. & Spring Garden St.), but that complex would extend at least 2 blocks north. It still might not remove those warehouses.

What a view...i would have a tough choice between looking at NJ, the Deleware River, and the BF Bridge or downtown Philly. Wait, no I wouldn't, def. center city. But the view in that pic is mucho impressive.

I got some information on the site to the north of the project (Pier 35 1/2). My bank is financing (hopefully) 36-38 townhomes on the site selling in the $1MM to $1.8MM range. The developer is the same guys doing Waterfront Square.

I did a double take when I saw the proposal come across my desk. I won't get a lot of details until they accept our proposal, but it's pretty much a lock. I'll share as much as I can.

Townhomes on the pier?

Do you mean like the low rise homes/condos they built along the docklands in London? Some of those are actually pretty cool.

Stopped by the site last Friday (3/5) and they are working on the 7th floor of the north tower (Regatta). They must have stopped work on the south tower (Peninsula) since they still haven't worked on the second floor yet. Maybe when the weather breaks they will step up construction. Since the newspaper says that the Reef tower (next to the south tower) is over 90% sold, they should be starting that tower in the spring.

Since the tower cranes are positioned between two of the towers I imagine each crane will service two buildings. The south towers should be done first and would probably move that crane to do the last tower if it is built in that time frame.

I have a pic of the north tower. It's just like Swinefeld's pic above but with one more floor on it. I need a class on how to post a photo. I don't quite understand it.

Buildup -- I think there's a parking garage component of the south tower and that's probably slowing things up. When I drove past there on Saturday I saw them pouring concrete around the south tower.

I'm totally confused about those towers though -- how many floors is the north tower and how many is the south?

The north tower along the river is 29 floors and the south tower along the river is to be 25 floors. The other south tower which should be next to go up is the smallest at 21 floors. The other north tower is to be 33 floors and the tower along the street should be 37 stories. They all seem to have a 4-floor increment.

Phillydude, doesn't the parking garage span the entire courtyard area between the buildings and is covered with landscaping?
