Hey Duke of Wellington... is your source willing to reveal who the architect is?
If it's a beautiful crown and spire... it's certainly not SOM-NYC. Maybe Frank Williams or Stern....
I didn't ask who the architect is but was told it resembles the Siena on Third Ave.
Hmmm...I need to see more. Also, is the elevation higher or lower than the Woolworth/Barclay towers?

Thats one sexy cluster Two talls, one medium, all fitting in nicely. This new tower will totally ruin it, ugh. I agree with Scruffy, the existing building should be used as the base, that would be kool.

That trick worked for the Hearst tower, we got lucky with that one. Let's not push our luck.
Besides, I don't see a residential tower rising out of this:

I thought this was going to be a much more mediocre tower, but this design is awesome - a worthy tower to share space with Woolworth. Build it as soon as possible.
The older base looks better, but it's the crown that makes this one special.

It's a little to far away to compliment the Woolworth building.
I'd say more 20 exchange place, 40 Wall, or American International.
That's Woolworth here in the background...
