I thought this was kind of interesting. Province House in Halifax (the protest had to do with adjusted film tax credits).

Not a huge building but it was built during the 1810's. Unfortunately, provincial politicians have converted part of the grounds into a small parking lot. Hopefully that will change someday. Councillors used to park in front of the city hall too.

Good. Who knows, maybe someday I can single-handedly make it a fraction as hated as your corner of the world. Oh, that doesn't bother you, because they're less than? Yeah. Imagine that.

I love these little side streets. You can't really appreciate them, though, until you've been yelled at by a morbidly obese resident for doing absolutely nothing wrong, and seen a freakishly hot girl crawl out of one of the shacks and head downtown (and back) in 6"+ heels.

Earlier this morning. I've no earthly idea what was going on. It's not a coffee shop, it's a vinyl store. Brianna Gosse has a new album coming out and she's been making the rounds. If it's not a surprise sunrise performance by her, I've no idea why people were there so early.

just as appears to be the case in canada, we are finally getting some consistently nice weather here in denmark. it's like 19 today and i took the day off to enjoy it.

at the southern end of østerbro there is a little warren of small residential streets that feature nice stone and stuccoed houses. there's no real reason to walk through this area, but it's nice and colorful and some of the constrasts, like the light blue and yellow, remind me of kiev or petersburg.

This looks too new, too ornate and too Mediterranean. Kinda like something out of California (San Diego). It's very Un-Canadian and it bothers me (not necessarily in a bad way). Maybe it's the concrete with round shapes?
