Calgary - odds and ends, both old places...

An oldie that we've got to keep...

One of those ancient and remote places that's right on Calgary's border. 400 year old fir trees, sandstone cliffs carved by rivers from 1,000's of years ago (two pics) - a beautiful place undiscovered and unknown by the vast bulk of Calgary's population...

I wondered how long it would take for this to turn into a St John's thread...

Great idea for a thread. Ceasing and desisting with the excessive St. John's pics would be perfect.

I'll never understand the mindset necessary to be THAT person. You people really suck.

Anyhow, picture count thus far (I wonder if your lives feel as I did counting these? Rough, man...):

Vancouver: 20
Calgary: 12
Toronto: 8
St. John's: 7
Waterloo: 3
Halifax: 2
Edmonton: 1
Kitchener: 1

But fine. I'll stick to the other thread.

I'll give you credit. For most of my life I've lived in blissful unawareness of anything specific about Newfoundland, but your tireless work on this forum over the past few years has made me actively hate the place.

Great 'peg photos. That first shot almost looks it's from Europe. Actually so does the third

Hum, I find it looks like pure North American urbanity without even a trace of european vibe.
