Neither am I. I've never heard of so many work stoppages attributed to payments in order to get permits released. The coronavirus may be responsible this time. This is the third time I've heard this for this development.

That happened several days ago. And it didn't collapse it came in contact with a building next to the site and broke part of the the cranes arm off.

I haven't checked the market over the past few months. It was humming with rising prices not to o long ago. I think someone will pick this up by Christmas with an aggressive offering order to build something more muted.

^ It's still humming. Condo prices are up, demand is there. I'd honestly be pretty surprised if Mizrahi sold out to some cheap builder. Never say never I guess....

YSL. Motivated seller. May have already sold,. No clue. If not, the longer it sits, the lower the price.

It's approved for 85 floors. That's a lot of floors. What is being built in 905 turns everything upside down . I still see a future owner considering fewer floors with a flatter roof line.

Yesterday, taken off my camera

I was down in the lakeshore yesterday for the first time since February, and shot a few construction sites here and there:
5. Bay Park Centre I (Toronto): 237.8m / 780ft
I don't have much to share for this project as i came down here late...but here's a few, like this:

7. Sugar Wharf Tower D (Toronto): 230.2m / 755ft
9. Sugar Wharf Tower E (Toronto): 218.4m / 717ft

About 5 floors high now:

The buildings will block out this view....unfortunate for Sugar Beach visitors, but oh well:

Some recent CIBC Square Pictures. I wonder how the interior for the new Bus Terminal is coming along?

I was actually able to see into the Bus terminal at CIBC last week from the other side of Lakeshore. Just a glimpse as one of the concrete trucks was pulling out, but the thing was massive. Much larger open interior space than I imagined.

See if I can steal a picture when I'm back Downtown.

Please do, according to GO's own webpage it's still set to open later this year. I assume after New Years demo for the second Tower could commence almost right away.

Just because The One finally got its above-grade permit so structural steel framing can begin, some impatient idiot at urbantoronto messed with one of Benito's great overhead shots.

More boring machines at work for SkyTower
Pinnacle One Yonge | 312.5m | 95s | Pinnacle | Hariri Pontarini

Also look at the cladding going on the podium. Looks decent making me hopeful for the complex.

The One Wednesday. It looks like they are just waiting for their first delivery of steel now to continue, fingers crossed any day now as the manufacturer was busing building the beams while this structure was waiting for it's final site approvals.

One Yonge is from the Bizarro Jerry world.. The podium has the cheapest window wall while the tower is clad in SSG curtainwall.
