Brentwood is actually at the bottom of the valley, the top of the other side is Burnaby Heights/Capitol Hill. The only reason Brentwood has any prominence is because of the taller average height of its buildings compared to Metrotown.

Brentwood is situated on the lower quarter of the ridge, which makes a difference from many angles, especially from Hwy 1.

Whereabouts are those, Monolith in Metro Van?

I'm strangely having a hard time recognizing where those towers are .

I should almost receive a forum ban for not recognizing them having lived in Vancity for so long...

First looks to be Burnaby, I'd guess the towers are Brentwood*. The lens makes it a bit confusing.

Second is Lonsdale in the foreground, Brentwood in the background.

I think*

That's Brentwood in the background, and the Lion's Gate Bridge in the foreground. I'm pretty sure that shot was taken from Ambleside Park in West Van.

As others have stated, the first shot is Brentwood. The second shot is of North Van in the foreground, Brentwood in the middle, and Surrey Centre in the distance.

A cool perspective driving in to Brentwood from East Vancouver. There's some nice skyline shots here. Play at 2x speed. This person drives sloooooow.

there are 4 towers going up in this space, there are 2 more coming soon. Plus the other side of this street (North Road) has been zoned for towers, this is all adding to the Lougheed/Burquitlam skyline.
