The official page for The Town Center at La Cantera has launched.

There are renderings still to come (they're not on the site yet), but there is a interactive map that lets you zoom in on the Town Center development. Also there's information on three other La Cantera developments including West Ridge, a 1 million sq ft class A office park.

Not bad, there's a rendering on there for a 9 or 10 story office building and a 30 acre park. You could conceivably have people living, working and shopping in this place, though I doubt that'll happen much in reality.

That's the building. The park is mentioned in a couple of different places, I believe in the office and residential sections.

I saw that on the site but I think it's a real building used simply as a representation of the office buildings planned. It doesn't look like a rendering to me.

While I'm all for development anywhere, I hate how this wants to create a Town Center. It is just going to be more sprawl. I know some people here are going to disagree with me, but I think a "town center" would work somewhere better where there is an established neighborhood, regardless of age. It doesn't always have to be Stone Oak, Alamo Ranch or Cibolo Town Center; I think something like this would work perfectly and would give the Medical Center area a true "center," isn't that the true purpose of a town center anyways?
Med. Center area, a side road, not a main intersection, somthing like around the Datapoint/ Parkdale intersection would be a good spot. A little razing doesn't hurt. I only say that spot because of the "density" and because that area probably wouldn't be so opposed to a 10-12 story office building.
We should try to use existing streets and roads instead of making "new" main streets... URBAN RENEWAL.
Don't get me wrong, this development is a plus, hopefully one day we get the infill to really make it work.

It looks just as "real" as the brownish 6-story one you posted, so I figured it was just as representative.

I don't expect to see much height in the West Ridge office park. It is being built at the foot of Westin's hill. I doubt they will block the amazing views that Westin has to offer.

That said, West Ridge is being built next to another mixed-use project name Promenade Place.

Too bad they couldn't get rid of that Motel 6 on I-10. It will sit near the middle of this development! It is hideous and doesn't fit in the area at all (eilan, The Rim, La Cantera, etc.)
