There are a series of small floors above the ground-level that look almost like garage floors (They have a low height and are almost completely covered in the rendering revealing only long slatted windows). I don't really understand all the uses of the individual floors nor what constitutes an actual floor in this case so I could be mistaken but when I passed by yesterday there were already 13 floors completed and the columns for the 14th were standing. Does anyone know what the levels above the ground floor are going to be? Is there a garage above ground?

That's what's messing me up too. I'm pretty sure the garage floors aren't counted as building floors. It seems that the pool end of the building is what they're counting. But even then it's hard to determine what counts as a floor. But if someone can determine what floor they are at in relation to the middle floor with the long balcony (9th from the top in the renderings), it will all become clear. Then we can just count down from the top floor in the renderings and know where they're at.

So, based on the rendering, I just counted the top floors, which are 16. Therefore, the garage is four completed floors. They are working on the 12 floor, based on what I can see from the WebCam.

I see what you're saying, Fryguy, but it looks like the actual building is turning out slightly different than the rendering as far as the number of covered floors in the garage section. It looks like the outer covering goes one floor higher in the actual building than it does in the rendering. Am I seeing that correctly? If you count the actual garage floors, then they're working on the actual 14th floor. But I don't think that's how they're counting the floors.

Seeing a photo from the same angle as the rendering would do wonders to help understand what is happening.

Starvinggryphon, the half-height floors are garage, and they are listed on the construction drawings as Level 02, Level 2.5, Level 03, Level 3.5, etc.

Per the building section that was also included in the published HDRC documents, the garage starts at level 2 and continues through level 5 (basically 4 floors as Fryguy stated).

I can't find a good webcam view, but the port-a-potties are currently sitting on level 12, with half of the 13th floor slab formed up.

I'm using imgur these days, but there are others. It's not that hard. Create an account, upload a photo, copy the share code, paste it here with

Looking forward to your photos.

Thanks, but all I did was take Robert's photo and stretch it out. It took a couple minutes. He took the time to go take the photo. I thank him for doing it.

Has the crane been raised? It looks like it may be at full height in Robert's photo. Hard to tell from 2,000 miles away.

I think the crane will probably still be raised. I haven't seen it in person, but based on the photos above, I don't think it's there yet. The FAA permit for the crane was for 400 feet.

Nice picture, Raul.

I really don't understand why they put that big blocky thing that blocks the view of downtown from the pool. It's big enough to be a core, but for no apparent reason.
