Yeah, this was a great view, but doesn't even come close to what we currently have (and likely need to give up in two months ). Stay tuned for more interesting angles of this city.

Thanks for the photos everyone!!

Nothing really to add, but I was walking along Robson Street and came across a group of tourists at the SE corner of Robson/Bute. They were all pointing and gawking at the tower and they seemed to think it was pretty cool.

Anyway, I should have taken a picture because it looked quite impressive from that angle.

You caught the light just right. Very nice!

Here are a couple of pics today from the plaza at the convention centre at the north foot of Thurlow Street.

Very nice, mcminsen. I walk to see this view every Friday. I like the layers of buildings in it.

^ Nice shots. From Burrard Bridge and Kits Beach?

There are so many places around town now where you can see Trump from. Here's a pic I got today of Trump peeking out from behind Shangri La (as seen from Yukon Street between 10 and 11 Ave, just east of city hall). Not much snow left on those mountains.

First is from Burrard Bridge, and the second two are from Jericho and one of the pocket parks off Point Grey Road. You can see a slice of MNP tower from out that way too:
