The West has been building follies of Eastern architecture for centuries, so it's about time they do the same.
China builds huge neoclassical style government buildings also. They look like bastardized US Capitol Buildings (which is also kind of weird if you think about it - the US Capitol is a Roman style building in North America which is a whole ocean away from Ancient Rome).

nelson's fugly clocktower could also provide some solid backup.
it did help clockzilla to vanquish mecclocky in the past.
, Thats one ugly clock, and Clockzilla could use some backup to fight such fugly buildings. He could also use Missingsausage City Halls Clocktower as a weapon to impale the Craplers. Photobucket
I love this. I especially love the RONA hammer wielded by Clockzilla. It has special powers. All the ugliness of Laval is distilled into that hammer. One hammer to rule them all.

Gene Kaufman buildings get my vote. His buildings are almost anti-architecture. Like purposefully opposed to being aesthetically pleasing.
