Well, if Winnipeg is the midwest, then geographically speaking, it makes Toronto the middle-east.

48 / 24..

Manitoba still has double.

This is interesting though, there's a lot more members from MB and Sask than I had previously thought.

I think that over half of these people don't even post. They just come to browse the comments. Nothing wrong with that, though.

Bringing this up front again because I know there is some people who joined lately and may not know about this count.

Never realise how many Manitobans there was.

Good grief. It's "people from Saskatchewan". And since you gave me the choice, I voted Manitoba.

No, the proper term when referring to people from Saskatchewan is Saskatchewanian.

Saskatchewanians sounds more correct than Saskatchewanigans or Saskatchewanites.

Saskatchewaner. Pronounced susKATchuhwun-ur. Plural, Saskatchewaners.

(Also, "person from Regina" = Reginan. ruhJInun. Not "Regin-ian".)

I've actually never heard anyone ever say Saskatchewaner... and I've been here my whole life... and as for the pronunciation of Reginan, ReeJInin also works . I've said it both ways.

And before it comes up, as for Saskatoon, having lived half my life there.. I always heard Saskatonian... "Sask-a-tone-ian"

Hmm... I grew up in Regina (and still call myself a Reginan though living away for school/work), and always heard/used "Saskatchewaner" myself. But I agree "Saskatchewanian" is definitely used a lot too even though it's an even wonkier mouthful than "Saskatchewan" already is.

Ppl from S'toon I always called "Saskatooners" (SASSkuhTOOnur), but I know I'm a minority in that. Even though obviously anything ending with an "n" becomes "ner", eg London -> Londoner, Berlin -> Berliner, Dublin -> Dubliner, Saskatchewan -> Saskatchewaner, etc.
