I may be wrong, but I’m counting 29, maybe 30 floors.

This looks suspiciously like the originally scrapped 30 floor planned tower. I hope I'm wrong.

I've been following this from the beginning & never remember seeing this gem. I dont think this recent building was ever planned, then scapped in the past. Anyhow, wherever it came from hopefully its gets going sooner rather than later!

Can anyone show that this most recent rendering shown on the thread was shown when the project was 1st announced, then scrapped. I'd really like to see it.

I think Sadsalmon may be right, and this is the old design. The massing model does look very similar to this rendering. That's a shame, because this really is a nice design.

I'm only seeing 27 floors up to the main roof amenity deck. There may be another transitional floor between the podium and the first tower floor. I'm assuming the floors in the podium are parking levels since there aren't any windows.

This is obviously the Villita site since the location of the river in relation to the lot matches that of the Villita site. This must be the older proposal back when they were still planning one tower. My guess is once they decided to develop two towers that they cut back on the design bells and whistles to cut costs.

That is the new one, the original one is rather plain with trees on top. I believe it's on page 4

No, we're looking at the massing model that was posted on page 2 by urbantrance. The shape of that model matches this rendering. Look at the two setbacks on the river side of the tower.

Ok. It is similar for sure with a exception to the top in my opinion, but massings are just to give a sense of space the building will encompass. They obviously dont show what the building will look like esthetically.

Mmm... two mediocre buildings instead of one slightly-better-than-average building. Keep SA lame.

The two tower plan, the "plain one", also will block the view of the Tower Life Building from Nueva Street and also from Cesar Chavez.

JMJ's website still has this project listed. But... it's the single tower plan with the "roof trees" rendering.

Hmmm...idk y'all. I really like that render, especially the lovely ripple artwork on the base. The facade also blends in nicely with nearby towers.

Looking at JMJ's website, this crew doesn't seem to have any completed "high rise" projects under their belt. They have a few concepts up in Dallas that are just like the one here in SA..but nothing under construction that I can tell. Probably another pie in the sky deal like we've seen multiple times with a few developers around here.
