Is there any difference between Ruby Tuesday and TGI'm Never Eating at Friday's again? Besides the day of the week? I despise TGI Friday's and particularly despise the mozzerela sticks and potato skins (I forgot to ask them to hold the freezer burn ).

Mmmmmm deep fried plastic.

Looks exactly like the ragamuffin assortment of pisstato skins I had on my Crapetizers Platter . I also had boneless buffalo wings which were shit but then again so are all boneless wings.

The only "big box-style" restaurant food I liked years ago in Montreal was the ribs at Baton Rouge.

Never been to Baton Rouge. I will confess to not minding Cheesecake Factory (when the line doesn't stretch across the great wall) and sadly enough, I find DQ good for ice cream treats on a hot day (who the hell gets hot dogs and burgers at a place called Dairy Queen).

Now this is soul-sucking! Vaughan's tacky answer to a convention centre.

If I could eat regular fast food, I'd go to Rudy for burgers http://www.rudyresto.com/

And Virtuous Pie for pizza (I do risk eating the gf pizza at Defina once or twice a year for birthday parties--it's fantastic
) https://virtuouspie.com/locations/ca...pen&active=yes

Rudy is great. Virtuous Pie is pretty good (though I hate the name), but Apiecalypse Now is better for vegan/gf stuff. Plus it's local and not another Vancouver transplant.

I have a few celiac friends so have had to learn where to go that's gluten free!

What are those photos supposed to show? It looks like perfectly edible pizza and wings to me. Where's the mold?

You know what I don't get? New York style pizza. What's so great about it? It's just a really thin slice with a few pepperonis on it. What's the big deal?

(This is probably sacrilege, so I guess I'll duck)

That pizza looks like something you see at the pizza place late at night where they don't want to make any new slices because they don't know if they can sell them.

Chicago style "pizza" isn't pizza, it's more like a casserole or a tomato sauce and cheese pie.

To be honest, I don't know what I'm doing talking about pizza in the soul-sucking thread, as I don't even like pizza all that much these days.

It's simple and accessible, like toast or a glass of water.

This could have been part of Seinfeld's act.

This page is making me hungry, is that normal?

I wonder how Scores buffet will survive after the pandemic. Or any buffet-style restaurant for that matter.

The fact that buffets had sneeze-guards before this shit should be a good enough indicator.

Mandarin will survive. It is a haven for pickup truck drivers.
