Well the glass has reached (almost) the half way mark. From what I've seen no complaints here as of now. The facade is pretty accurate to the final rendering. And the sheer impact that this tower gives off is outstanding. It's a powerful building no doubt, and gives (IMO) a more dominant feel than both 7WTC and the WFC. The only building that matches up to GS as far as dominance goes in the area is (IMO) 1 Liberty.

What I also like it the fact that you have Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch, and American Express all on the same street. A lot of powerful financial institutions in that one little area alone.

This tower's dominance is undeniable, but that dominance will be lost with the new WTC.

What are the floor heights for this one? 749 ft. seems really tall, considering theres no crown.

They had their corner time for blatant safety breaches long enough by now, good to see glass continuing to climb back up.

By the way, anyone know whether the GS side of the walkway will include any retail? (not likely though)

One tower that fits the Financial District well. Love the cladding.

Thanks for making a new thread. I've been looking for the old one for ages, but I guess it fell off the forum or something. Nice pics guys.

How come the old thread vanished ? It's a major building !

Now that Carlos is back, hopefully, someone will keep it active.
