Work continues. If you zoom in, it looks like rebar is being formed on site:

I should have grabbed pictures - the sidewalk along Beale St offers the best view, you can see everything.

There are caissons going in - I recognize the drills/equipment on-site and the site is littered with those cylindrical steel setups with the piping for cement running down them. It appears they are using the same construction method as at Salesforce Tower and 181 Fremont where they drill and fill the caissons first, and then excavate out the subterranean structure.

In my opinion this is officially UC by SSP standards and I will try to grab pictures for evidence.

I see rebar in the last picture, which is good enough for me to move to U/C.

Congrats guys, this is a nice tower

Thanks! It's super exciting to have this, 181 Fremont, and Salesforce Tower all rising next to each other.

Pouring a caisson.

I spoke with a worker - his estimate, likely as someone with little visibility and little reason to care too much, is that there is +6 months of this work, which looks like no work on the surface (literally), and then 6-8+ to dig, the it will take another long period to come out of the ground. Basically, no different from the other towers we became so naturally impatient with.

Construction is well underway at #ParkTower. Caissons 50% complete with 38 of 54 finished. Still on track for delivery in Q1 2018!

From the cam, it looks like the soldier piles are well underway. Excavation soon to follow?

Concrete was being poured along the perimeter where the retaining walls will be, yesterday. I think we are getting close to excavation. Also, I think I noticed a new rendering on the fence. Can't wait for this tower to rise.
