Thank you for your correct adjectival use of the word "damned." Too many people use the verbal form "damn" incorrectly, thinking it is an adjective when it is actually a verb... so many so that dictionaries are actually starting to list it thusly because of its rampant colloquial use.

I the following semi-related example, Navin Johnson mistakenly thinks Stan Fox is speaking his sentence without a comma after the word "damn."

That is some obscure and mostly- I suspect - unappreciated humor.

And I KNOW he's dead serious now.

And, to get back on topic, I hope both go up. That area is thriving and growing, and that sign they had up back a few months ago was funny as hell:

"Welcome to San Antonio, Cibolo's biggest suburb". I did have a laugh when I saw that.

They are.

We are not talking about a CVS and Walgreens. The poster you quoted made that irrelevant comment. We are talking about two entertainment complexs that no one can give an example of being across the road from eachother.

I feel this forum becomes emotional at times. I was talking with a person directly involved in one of these developments. I have no dog in this fight nor do I care if this area gets two theaters or not.

Like I said we will have to wait and see.

You’re right, Live Oak Town Center does have a cinema planned. It would be directly across 35 from the Regal Live Oak Cinema.

That would potentially be two entertainment centers across from one another on the far northeast side.

Very interesting. The twist is that Embrey is going to move their offices into that building, which means it's mixed use! Sort of out of character for that area, but in a good way.

I've always liked that building. I think it was the first office building on 410. The glass used to be a bright copper color. I can remember it back to my early childhood because there used to be a toy store next to it.
