Fine Dining: Creek in Cathedral Bistro (13th Ave., near Elphinstone) Quaint, a little expensive, but really good, high quality - they usually have a special Valentine's day menu! ... Hint! Hint! you googly eyed guys!

Moments in Thyme - Downtown, 11th Ave., near Hamilton St.

Beer Brothers - took over Alfredo's downtown

Soho's (Dewdney Strip, for lunch)

Zest Restaurant (at Sask Science Centre)

All-you-can-eat Sushi: Wasabi (Rose St. & 11th Ave. - inside Holiday Inn Express) Chris, the owner, also has Wasabi on Quance St. in East Landing strip mall (where Angkor (Cambodian/Chinese/Thai), Mediterranean Bistro, Smokin' Okie's, and Joey's Only are also located.) and a new location somewhere near the Galaxy Theatres in Normanview area, but these are not all-you-can-eat locations.

Miso Ya (Vic Ave. & MacKay St. - the owner moved from Winnipeg)

Spicy Indian: Flavours of India (Vic Ave. & Harvey St. - Sukie (Sp??)) the owner, who moved his family from Surrey, BC, can make it mild or a hot as you like!)

Korean: Korea House (11th Ave., near St. John St. - took over Lin's Chop Suey)

Vietnamese: Mai Phuong (Broad St., near 11th Ave.)

Ngoc Van (right beside Korea House, to the west) Great Vietnamese subs, great regular (familiar) dishes, too!

Mexican: La Casa Maya (Broad St. & 7th Ave.)

When we ate at Mojo Lounge on Albert St, I forgot I was in Regina. It was like a space-warp to a restobar in Toronto. My partner and I were impressed, it was the best meal we've had in Sask. The next morning, we ate breakfast at the Monarch Lounge in the Hotel Sask, and that was tasty and reasonably priced.

Those are my two votes.

Can't go wrong with The Willow on a summer evening.

Then there's the Diplomat. Always a treat. A very expensive treat, but a treat nonetheless.

I went to Greko the other day, at least I think that's what it was called.

The lamb was probably the most tender I've ever had anywhere. Great place all round, my only complaint was that the Guinness was in a can and not on tap , though being a Greek restaurant I'm sure not many people order Guinness.
