Looks like 3 more floors for the core to be topped out on the eastern leg. Nice Shot Bobby!

I've heard a rumor that the deck doors of the window wall system failed the mock up and the developer has to go with another glass manufacturer, possibly delaying the project's completion. Just a rumor from some friends I have in the industry so any validity that could be shed on the matter would be greatly appreciated!

Here is a shot heading South on McClurg. It is shaping up to be such a massive building.

Hmmmm... hadn't seen anyone say anything about that here, but maybe that explains why we hit 50 floors built before 5 floors glassed on this beastie. Interesting...

I posted a week or so ago about trouble with the curtain wall...

As long as they caught and fixed it before it was too late.

I can't believe how good this building looks as just a concrete structure. I can't imagine the vents at the top are going to take too much away from its stunning sculptural presence.

My thoughts exactly.

Vista will be one of the few that are instantly recognizable globally!

I've heard of some mockup failures as well. I highly doubt they will switch from EFCO (the window wall manufacturer) at this point.

Man, talk about going from ecstasy to agony. I looked out the window of my office, which faces southeast, and saw this:

ENHANCE:

That's a Vista crane right? The tiny one in the middle on the edge of the Millennium Centre? I immediately thought "I'm going to see this thing go skywards every day!" ... until I realized that it's probably not too far from topping out the first setback, and the rest will be blocked by bKL's Exhibit.

Sad face.

I'm not so sure... I think that this picture confirms you will be able to see the majority of the western portions of the tower since the tower crane there is strapped quite closely to the tower itself, right? I guess only time will tell for you haha

Turns out I have a better view from our conference room, so my optimism just spiked again. Hope to have some interesting vantages for the forum soon.
