This morning was a refreshing change. It was actually cold when I woke up.

It is a good thing climate change is a farce, or imagine the heat.

I, too, am ignorant of the difference between weather and climate.

25° on the water, 32° in the suburbs. We're hotter than the Okanagan!

I can't wait until the cold front goes through. I'm tired of the heat.

^I agree Vid...at least in the Calgary area it cools off nicely at night so you don't need to shut the windows and crank the A/C.

CCF - Again, those numbers are missing the last day or two of July, and for Regina one other day is missing on EC...so, it could be as much as 17. But yes, even at 14, that will feel like a lot!

EDIT: I should also mention, Calgary did set a record for highest average mean temperature...19.33c (Okotoks station was 20.43). For the Winnipegers in Calgary, they've been lucky because its been at about the Winnipeg average mean, and not too far off this July's Winnipeg (The Forks station) mean of 22.64c...minus the humidity though for the most part. Average mean in Calgary is 16.2c, while Winnipeg is 19.5c.

That's it I'm moving to Onefour, after I find out where it is. I did find this picture and it looks like a nice place to catch grasshoppers, camp and four wheel!

That's what happens when it's that hot with no rain for an extended period of time!

^Yes, it's all semi-arid grasslands there...some Canadians might call it "desert" even (like those in Osoyoos do ).

It's in the extreme South-East corner of Alberta, and there's nothing down there. A little west though, is Milk River, and a very fascinating area called Writing-On-Stone...definitely worth the trip. Some of the oldest, and largest collection of native rock paintings on the NA Great Plains...the canyon-like rivers, and hoodoos are also interesting.

Just watch out for rattlesnakes, blackwidow spiders and scorpions...(and the cactus).

It's beautiful! 22° and sunny and a nice breeze!! It's August again!

It was even better yesterday, 25° and no humidity, with a nice breeze off the lake. The definition of a perfect summer day.

^Agreed Vid. No more than 25c, and no humidity, and a good breeze. Perfect.

Can't stand this 30-ish celsius stuff anymore. Going to the Peg on the weekend is not going to be fun, with all the humidity there lately.

I'm glad it's cool again, but I'll be going to hot 45 degree southern China heat next month as soon as it gets colder, haha
