Winnipeg weather

Well, I think a thread should be dedicated to a topic that is close to all Winnipeggers (and those Winnipeggers who have moved away ) hearts; the weather of course.

This weekend is looking like a scortcher; 31-37C with humidity. Prime for heading to the beach! Looks like we aren't just a frozen wasteland after all, eh?

We just take out our boat and can go swimming off that, in Lac Du Bonnet (Winnipeg River).

Perhaps.. but there are so many beaches to choose from. While thens of thousands are going to Grand Beach or Winnipeg Beach, others will find comfortable spots on Patricia Beach, Beacona among others.

We know how you feel.

Man, even the swimming pool at my cousin's house didn't cut the heat. The only way was to stay inside their house... with air conditioning... in the basement!!

...and yes, Tuesday will be a scorcher. Hell I could fry eggs on my car's hood, or bake a couple potatoes inside my car.

exactly, this is something that come closer to the definition of summer, not those 26C days!

a whole year of this weather and winnipeg would become as animated and sexy as L'Avana.

Snow?? In August?? Unheard of!!

It's going up to 27 today, and we're getting thunderstorms, in Tundra Bay.

Wish you were here.

Who cares how long it lasted for. If it's not on top of a mountain I'm climbing, I had better not see any snow in August

I'm just glad I was out of town and missed it
