Yes, it's basically a triangle, so it looks v-shaped on the corners.

Ok I have seen it I just didn't know what it was.

It would make a great base for a modern tower, similar to Hearst in New York, which I believe was also planned to be a taller building that never came to be.

I don't think it would fit in so well in Winnipeg, but it would look great in Calgary, much better than the Bow. I don't really like it. The same architect can have ups and downs, and Bow is one of Foster's downs.

I don't really think the Curry Building needs any additions or changes. There are lots of other places for office towers should there be a need for one in Winnipeg, which there isn't.

The empty lot on Elise ans Nortre Dame would be a great spot for an office tower.

Shorten it about 10% and it would look great at Notre Dame and Elice.

Was playing with SketchUp to try to make a more realistic model. Used some photoshop, but I sucked at it.

^^^The glare should come from looking from the other side.

From reading some of your previous posts, I'm getting the impression that you don't want Winnipeg to grow or change; not even a little. Even though you are in "the big TO", you have the classic Winnipeg mentality.

I don't see why not. After all, we have been snafu'd of a second/twin tower here, TWICE!!

I think a tower like that would look great across the street from the MTS Centre (former location of A & B Sound). If not there, another good spot would be on the south pad over Winnipeg Square. Putting a tower at that location would be a great boon to the shops below as well as providing office workers easy access to the skywalk system.

Actually, being in the "big TO" I can see what tall buildings do for a city, which is precisely nothing.

I certainly don't want magnificent historic buildings torn down or wrecked with additions, which unfortunately is not the classic Winnipeg mentality --otherwise we would not have garbage such as the Commodity Exchange Tower and other recent eyesores littering the downtown core.

I have to agree, the Commodity Exchange Tower demolished too many buildings. If they would of built the other tower, I think it would of been better and worthwhile.

If they built the second tower AND the hotel in between, then it would have been DEFINITELY worthwhile.
