We could go back and fourth to derail yet another thread on here all day.

In other news, while not new developments, the lighting enhancements of The Pyramid and the new signage on the high rise apartments on Jackson Keller makes both buildings much more tolerable.

True. Let's not.

Cool. Got any photos for a guy in Boston? (If not, I understand. Posting photos is a next-level effort on forum sites, and I rarely do it.)

You talking about the pyramid at Blanco/410? I drove past there the other night...it was lit up all green reminded me of the MGM grand in las vegas

I dunno maybe. I dont' remember ever seeing it lit up in a color other just regular lighting.

They do a different lighting scheme each day. Most of the time it is a stair step down each floor changing from blue, to green, to red, to yellow. It is pretty neat because sometimes the speeds are different too.

Thanks for the link. It's been awhile since I've been by there at night. Did not know about this upgrade. I like it.

I was unhappy with the design until I realized this is an adaptive reuse of an old warehouse. It's actually pretty sweet!

hose who have visited the Pearl District in San Antonio or the Domain in Austin have gotten a taste of the mixed-use lifestyle a local developer aims to bring to New Braunfels.

Solms Landing is a 98-acre tract of land located on FM Road 306 between I-35 and FM 1101. The planned mixed-use development will offer the “best of” neighboring big cities in New Braunfels, according to Fred Meyers, vice president of project development for Solms Landing.

It's nice, quite beautiful, in fact, but 25 million?! $25 million for this project is absurd

Why is it absurd? I'm not disagreeing, I just don't know what a three acre elevated land bridge should costs in light of the structural, landscaping, and technical issues involved in building something like this.

Whaddup y'all. Does anybody know what's being built on the corner of Military and Highway 90 out by Lackland? I remember a couple years back, I read about a memorial/monument or something of that sort in that area but can't remember what exactly. Anyways, a weekend drive out that way sparked my curiosity again.
