At least this one has curves and what appears to be a turret. Watch any episode of Million Dollar Listing LA and it seems like every new build mansion in LA are boxes covered by glass.

Looks exactly the same as I recall it two years ago.

If that is indeed the case, there could be cash-flow challenges. Slowing construction would help in a direct fashion, while also deferring a major bump in property taxes that would be expected upon completion.

Any clues yet as to who owns this one? I've been away for a long time, so apologies if this was addressed previously.

I seem to recall a Calgary Cancer Centre thread for a period I was lurking, but I don't see it now. The webcams show that it is quite mammoth at this point.

Quite a nice pad, but surprised they didn't go bigger.

These three houses are making a great little stretch of mansions. They'll look great in the years to come. I'm also glad to see houses with 3 storeys now being built. Such valuable property deserves at least three storeys.

Every time there's a photo update of this place, there's construction happening, but the house still looks the same.

It's nice enough, but looks too suburban. The only thing that sets it apart from being a typical suburban place is the nice front yard and a garage in the back. Most suburban places like this have a driveway in the front and a crappy little patch of grass they call a yard. lol.

With health restrictions in place, perhaps they can’t have too many trades on site at one time. Goes a lot slower when only one or two trades can be working at the same time.

Excellent update Daemon. I've been wondering how these were progressing.

Progress has been slow but it has been happening. Likely due to covid, or maybe the owner are having a cash flow problem, which could also be related to covid as well.

As I said earlier there is progress, but it's very slow on the front exterior side. No discernible difference between the the last two of Daemon's updates.

Wow - years pass and the same commentary. Still stickin' it to the suburbs LOL!

It's because he's right. The houses in the suburbs all look the same and are basically crappily made rubbish.
