I wonder what "next year" means... Summer 2013? Fall 2013? Regardless, I look forward to seeing this one rise. In the mean time, the wait continues...

This is going to be a great addition to the city.
  • Awesome height
  • Awesome location
  • Awesome added density to the skyline

I think they have the height wrong, because I always thought it was going to be as advertised here. 807' sounds new to me.

I wouldn't put anything into it. WNY is an excellent forum for information, but they don't update that sort of information for whatever reason.

Does anyone know how to search the DOB website for permits? I tried to figure it out but can't crack it.

Here's the last one I've seen. Just type in the address.

They hired contractors for this one back a few weeks ago, so this is a go. Workers should be back on site within days.

Great news! With this, Manhattan West, Hudson Yards and 56 Leonard starting imminently, all we need now is Torre Verre.

I can't wait to see this tower rise. 56 Leonard may get all the attention, but its novelty has already been undermined by similar projects. This will be like watching an old titan from the 1930s rise again.

Hopefully they will use the same materials as 15 Central Park West! This tower will look tall and amazing!

Agreed. If we get limestone with bronze finishing it will be stunning and a worthy neighbor of the new wtc and Woolworth towers.

Wow - I was satisfied enough with 56 Leonard getting a fire lit from underneath, but I'll take it! I think this one will take people by surprise.

Just curious, where'd you hear this? I would really like for this tower to be restarted.

I'll ease up on the emotional throttle a lot more once WTC's 2 & 3 get the tenant nod...and once I see for a visual certainty that TV is a go.

The Chicago Spire was canceled 2 years ago. So it's never going to rise.

There's no way the Chicago spire will ever come back because it was cancelled instead of being put on hold like 30 Park place or 56 Leonard.

I'm still skeptical that this one will be rising in the near future. I guess I'll have to see it to believe it.
