that's typical taiwanese. cuz thats what taiwanese people like. very traditional not innovative culture with preference for traditional dated tacky design taste.

omg they're actually going to build this. one of the few tall building proposals that actually get approved and built in taiwan with most proposals with better architecture getting rejected and they pick this sucker to build.

It is Farglory, it is what they normally do in Taiwan.

why cant they just cover this building with glass? it would be boring but definitely would look 100x better than this design. why are taiwanese people's taste so frickin weird??

I was in Kaohsiung yesterday, and drove passed this site. I had no idea such a large building was going up, and was super excited to see what it was. Too bad about the exterior design. It's really disjointed, and the facade patterns don't match at all. Hopefully, it'll turn out better than the rendering.
