According to the Taichung city website the opera house will be completed by 2010. Unfortunately, I have no idea if planning for the project has been finalized or when construction is set to begin.

I think the opera house will be located across the street from these apartments.

it's impressive. this city only defaults a subway system to be a complete metro area.
