Yeah, having this disjointed geometric thing (especially the misplaced slab) is really in with architects this days. I would say that this building looks nicer, as it has a more sleek looking design, and it looks like it will be a nice dark-grey/black.

This has been taking its sweet time to get going. The lot has been vacant for some time now.

I also thought we already had a thread for this but maybe not. Thanks for creating.

Might be wrong but I think the name is "Central Park House".

(Really generic)

Apparently, those screens made horrible whistling noises in the wind and had to be modified.

Something might be getting going soon... There has been a fence around the site for months but they have recently added to the fencing, so perhaps demolition will commence soon? I do hope so, as this will be a great addition for the area.

If that amenity floor turns out anything like the rendering, then wow. That's gorgeous. Late evening swim after a workout would be bliss with that view.

Also love the color palate on this.

I mostly like what it does to its area, being a great start for more height there. Wilson Street is also really nice with its cherry trees but the building at Wilson and Kemp needs to go. If there is ever a drug den of a building, this is it. There is zero maintenance on the building ground and I cannot tell if it's squatters or people living there? It is in quite a contrast to its surroundings.

It was at least on the market a few years ago. Potential 22-23 storey tower.

I think it is high time they include at least one or two commercial streets around this area to complement Kingsway. With so many new residents moving into this area, there should be more services available nearby, especially around Patterson Skytrain station.
